Deion Sanders: Colts stole signals for years; Tony Dungy says so what?

It’s an “unwritten rule” in baseball. The NFL, who knows?

Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders says the Colts stole defensive signs for years. Sanders was responding to an on-air comment by LaDainian Tomlinson questioning the Patriots’ success because of Spygate.

Jones said offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan has “done a great job all season” dialing up plays that allows the Falcons’ offense to excel.

“It helps a great deal,” Jones said. “As a defensive coordinator, you’ve really got to pick your poison to see what you’re going to try to take away, whether it’s the running game or the passing game.”

While Jones said with a smirk on Wednesday that he’s capable of having another 300-yard game, he knows the Falcons are capable of winning without him.

He missed two games with a foot injury in December — both Falcons wins. He had just one catch in a Week 3 win over the Saints. The Broncos held him to two catches in Week 5 — a Falcons victory. Jones had just three catches for 29 yards against the Packers, but Mohamed Sanu was the hero with nine receptions for 84 yards and the game-winning touchdown in a 33-32 Falcons victory. Jones had four catches for only 35 yards against the Cardinals, but the Falcons cruised to an easy win as NFL Jerseys Authentic Taylor Gabriel had a breakout game with two scores.

“It takes a team to win a game,” Jones said. “I can go out and play really well individually, but I can’t win a game.”
