Bengals’ Kevin Huber turns in first sassy punter moment of 2017

Punters aren’t usually the ones who turn in the most memorable plays in any given game. The Bengals’ Kevin Huber was the exception on Sunday.

Ten Texans players, including wide receivers DeAndre Hopkins, Will Fuller, and Braxton Miller, and running backs D’Onta Foreman and Akeem Hunt, stayed behind in Houston. The team has been in close contact with them, according to the Houston Chronicle’s John McClain.

Tickets were on sale for the preseason matchup for $25 each. Proceeds were set to go to the United Way of Greater Houston Relief Fund, per the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson.

What about Week 1? That’s up in the air at this point. The team hopes it will be able to play the season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars in NRG Stadium.

“I’m gonna stand because that’s the way I feel about the flag — but I’m also 100 percent supportive of my teammates or any fellow players who are choosing not to,” Rodgers said. “They have a battle for racial equality. That’s what they’re trying to get a conversation started around.”

A year ago, Rodgers expressed a similar thought when he told Alex Marvez of Sporting News that he wouldn’t join the protests, but supported the freedom of expression used by Kaepernick and other players.

“I think the best way I can say this Cheap Kings Jerseys is: I don’t understand what it’s like to be in that situation,” Rodgers told ESPN. “What it is to be pulled over, or profiled, or any number of issues that have happened, that Cheap Liverpool Soccer Jerseys Colin was referencing — or any of my teammates have talked to me about.”
